ABOUT ME...

My first job at 18 was as a follow-spot operator at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in 1988. Every night I got to watch some of the best actors in the country, Mark Rylance, Simon Russel Beale, Roger Allam to name but a few... After fours years at the RSC working in many Departments  I went to the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and trained as an actor myself. In the 30 years since graduating I have acted in all sorts of mediums and genres, but Shakespeare has been the backbone of my career... It has given me a great ear for rhetoric and taught me the importance of 'Truth'. ​

In early 2018, feeling somewhat jaded from a long run in the West-End and not looking to jump back into another theatre run, I was invited to direct a voice over for a Video Game at Side Global... It was a great fit... I have since gone on to be the Lead Voice Over director on many games from AAA titles such as 'Ghost Recon' and 'Plague Tale', to Indie hits like 'Kosmokrats' and 'The Ascent' thanks to my continuing relationship with SideGlobal.

Having gained 30 years experience working as an actor with some of the best Directors and actors in the British Theatre, TV and Film Industry, I now relish bringing the same energy and playfulness of rehearsal and performance to the Video Game voice over world helping actors quickly find truthful, exciting and nuanced performances in the booth.
